As a solo artist, and in collaboration with others, Mark has helped to raise over £20,000 for charities and good causes over many years. He is always willing to listen to proposals for fundraising, and happy to travel considerable distances to play a part in helping to support a community venture. There are too many charities to list for whom Mark has raised cash, but they include: Marie Curie Cancer Care, The Woodland Trust, The Cousteau Society, Cancer Research, Alzheimer's UK, Defenders of Wildlife, Hector's House Cat Rescue, The British Heart Foundation, Free The Bears, and many more. In 2025, Mark is selling a double single CD to raise funds for Cash For Kids North Scotland.
